Sketch.
Every design starts as a hand sketch on paper, going through multiple iterations.
Sculpt.
Each buckle is sculpted by hand at a larger scale.Working oversized allows for deeper detail, sharper relief, and a more dimensional final piece.
Mold.
The sculpture is reduced to its final size to create the mold. This step preserves the integrity of the original design while preparing it for casting.
Cast.
Molten metal is poured into small batch molds, forming buckles with distinct character and weight.
Polish.
Each buckle is polished by hand. This final step brings out the depth, texture, and finish of the design. Due to this, no two buckles are exactly alike.
How Our Belts Are Made
Leather.
Each belt begins with carefully selected American leather. We source high-quality American leather chosen for its strength, texture, and ability to age beautifully over time.
Cut.
Each belt is cut to size in small-batch production, allowing for precision, consistency, and close attention to detail.
Paint.
The edges of each belt are carefully painted and finished by hand to create a smooth, clean, and durable edge.
Stitch.
Select styles are stitched by hand, adding subtle character and reinforcing the craftsmanship of the final piece.
Quality Control.
Before leaving the workshop, every belt is reviewed, refined, and finished by hand to ensure quality and longevity.
